What We Covered

  • SuperZoo Meetup Recap: The WPA team shared that it was the most talked-about event at the show! APPA also wants to partner for Global Pet Expo, so more opportunities are coming.

  • Quarterly Connection Plan: We’ll host virtual calls every quarter between Global and SuperZoo, and continue to organize in-person meetups at both shows.

  • Member Directory + Feature Articles: Both forms are now live and working. Fill them out so we can stay connected and feature your story.

Upcoming Events

  • Pet Connect (November): Michelle (ShopDot) & Jamie (Innovative Pet Lab) will represent FemaleFounders.Pet during a reverse pitch + networking session.

  • Future Meetups: We’re working with WPA/APPA to explore affordable exhibitor opportunities and possibly a Female Founders Showcase next year.

  • Regional Meetups: Several members suggested local gatherings, stay tuned for updates!
